Electric Overhead Traveling (EOT) Cranes are one of the most common types of overhead cranes and are extremely useful in critical industrial applications. These have parallel paths, where the distance is covered with a crossing bridge that is built onto the hoist. These cranes are electrically powered, as their name implies, through a control pendant or an operator cabin attached to the EOT crane. EOT cranes have the ability, besides moving in both directions, to reduce or lift heavy loads.
