Acoustic lagging is composite material featuring a vinyl loaded flexible noise barrier having mass of 1 lb/sq.ft. (4.9 kg/sq.m.), reinforced-aluminum foil faced, bonded to a 1� thick quilted fiberglass sound absorber.
The noise barrier is constructed from a 2mm thick barium sulphate loaded limp vinyl sheet bonded to a thin later of reinforced aluminum foil faced on one side.
The decoupler layer is 25mm thick fiber glass batting, on woven porous scrim glass cloth, quilted together in a matix of 100mm diamond stitch patter.
