Bitzer BSE 170 Synthetic Refrigeration Compressor Oil

Bitzer BSE 170 is a high-performance, fully synthetic refrigeration compressor oil formulated on a polyol ester (POE) base and engineered specifically for HFC and certain HFO refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. As an original Bitzer-approved lubricant, BSE 170 delivers excellent miscibility with modern refrigerants such as R134a, R404A, R407C, R507A and others — which ensures reliable oil return throughout the system and efficient compressor operation.

With an ISO VG 170 viscosity grade, this oil provides a thick, stable lubricant film, ideal for semi-hermetic and screw compressors where robust protection of bearings, rotors, and internal components is required under high pressure and elevated temperatures.
