PMR SAFETY FIRE-EX 1.5/3.0 is based on a pressure and propellent free dispersion system. It is centered around a force element made of silicone. Upon filling the system the force element expands, and because of the expansion energy, it puts a pressure (approx. 2 bars or 30lb/in2) upon the extinguishing agent inside. when trigging the nozzle, the force element shrinks back to its initial size and in the process it disperses the extinguishing agent from the system. With this technology a riser tube is no longer necessary, allowing for 360 Degree dispensing.
