A mild steel round bar is a circular low carbon steel grade. The Mild steel round bar has primary constituents of carbon, silicon, manganese, sulphur, and phosphorous. The bars exhibit good strength and outstanding tolerances. Mild steel hollow bar has superb strength and is adaptable to different applications. The versatile bars have good malleability and are very ductile. An MS round bar can be readily welded following standard welding procedures. The round bars cannot be strengthened through heating and quenching processes. A Mild steel black bars is produced via a hot rolling and may have a scaly rough surface finish. These bars allow for good machining and have excellent dimensional tolerance.
